Dana is a self-described hippy who once sold all her belongings, bought a van and ate her way west to California. She has competed in many BBQ competitions, once even defeating her head chef in a Top Chef Saskatchewan challenge.

At 18, Mathieu left Montreal to pursue his passion for food and work as a chef for Club Med. He spent several years cooking all over the Caribbean and when not working, would often accompany local chefs to their homes to learn their ancient cooking techniques. It was these visits that sparked his love for fire.

This hit cooking competition series sees award-winning chef Gordon Ramsay and other celebrity chefs put a group of contestants through a series of challenges and elimination rounds, in order to turn one home cook into a culinary master.

A mystery-box challenge has the Top 16 chefs preparing dishes using canned foods. The winner will work with former "MasterChef" champion Luca Manfe and "MasterChef Junior" winner Alexander Weiss to select a specialty dish for the elimination round.

Elise Mayfield was an e-Learning Administrator from Birmingham, Alabama. She was eliminated in MasterChef season 5 episode 9 after landing in the bottom two in the mystery box challenge.After MasterChef, Elise is a baker at Honey Baby Bakes, appears at food markets and is Assistant Food Stylist, Video Liaison, & Events Coordinator at the Meredith Corporation. She competed in Reality Rally in 2015 and has a baking show on YouTube. Elise is a Development Manager at a theatre company and has appeared on stage in a number of theatrical productions. 041b061a72
